Hey my name is Shelby I am 12 years old and I suffer from and Eating disorder, Anorexia Nervosa. I have been struggling with my disease for 2 years now. It all started back when I was 10 and I was a flyer for the millville roadrunners cheerleading squad, there was another flyer, Kylie and she was sooo tiny, and there was just me the fat chubby one. So my bases complained I was too heavy and there arms were always so sore. Well, I started my first 5-day fast about a month after cheer started, I lost 8 pounds. My bases said, you seem lighter. It made me feel good, but it wasn't good enough. From that day on I thought about my body everyday and only ate when someone told me to. I have kept it a secret nobody knows except for livejournal. That's my story.
